Docks Bruxsel, the environmentally-friendly shopping centre

Opened in October 2016, this new 56,000 m2 shopping centre is the first in Belgium to integrate a number of ecological elements into its construction (heating, air-conditioning, lighting, etc.). For example, the heating system is 100% guaranteed through recovery of the surplus hot water generated by the adjacent incinerator. The installation was carried out by ENGIE Axima in association with SPIE.

Stella Artois, a beer brewed with genius

ENGIE Axima is involved with climatic engineering installations for the fourth brewing line at Stella Artois. The ENGIE subsidiary has also provided sanitary installations and fire protection systems for this new building. The climatic engineering installations in the existing brewing hall were also improved.

Sustainable mobility solutions

Recharging stations for electric vehicles at Swift

ENGIE has provided an intelligent recharging solution for electric vehicles at Swift in La Hulpe. ENGIE Cofely has installed 40 terminals on site and another 20 in employees’ homes. ENGIE also manages electricity consumption peaks caused by the charging of vehicles and optimises overall electricity consumption on site.

Electric vehicles for lease with ALD Automotive

In collaboration with ENGIE Electrabel, ALD Automotive has launched a leasing solution. The lease covers the electric car and the recharging station installed in the employee’s home. All data relating to consumption for charging the vehicle is measured by the leasing company, which reimburses the driver. The costs are then billed to the employer under the leasing agreement.
